A Dishwasher That Fits, Drains, and Doesn't Leak
Got a new dishwasher waiting in the box? Hawaiian Xpress installs dishwashers across Colorado Springs, whether it's a straight swap for your old one or a new spot in a remodeled kitchen. We connect the water, drain, and power, level it, secure it to the counter or cabinets, and run it before we leave.
Most dishwasher problems start at install: a kinked drain hose, a loose water line, or a unit that isn't level and won't seal. Doing those steps right is what keeps water off your floor.

What Every Install Includes
- Removal: We disconnect and pull out your old dishwasher without scratching the floor or cabinets, and haul it away.
- Water supply: We connect the hot water supply and check the shutoff valve under the sink.
- Drain: We route the drain hose to the sink drain or garbage disposal with a proper high loop or air gap, so dirty water can't flow back in.
- Power: We connect it to the existing outlet or hardwired circuit.
- Level and secure: We level it front to back and side to side, then fasten it to the counter or cabinets so it can't tip.
- Test run: We run a cycle and check every connection for leaks before we leave.

Dishwasher Installation FAQ
- Can you install a dishwasher I bought from a store?
- Yes. Most of our installs are dishwashers customers bought from a store or online. Have it delivered before your appointment.
- Will a new dishwasher fit where my old one was?
- Most standard dishwashers are 24 inches wide and fit a standard opening. Height and depth vary by model, so check the opening against the specs before you buy, or send us the model number and we will check it.
- Why does a dishwasher need a high loop or air gap?
- It keeps dirty sink water from siphoning back into the dishwasher. Plumbing codes require one, and skipping it is a common cause of smelly or dirty dishes.
- How long does a dishwasher installation take?
- A straight replacement usually takes one to two hours. A new location that needs water, drain, or power run to it takes longer.
- Do you install the garbage disposal too?
- Yes. Since the dishwasher usually drains through the disposal, it makes sense to replace an old disposal at the same visit.
